As the Special Investigator - Physical Damage, you will be responsible and accountable for the investigation, evaluation, monitoring and management of assigned investigations to protect Manitoba Public Insurance (MPI) from financial risk and enable court preparation and testimony.  The Special Investigator works in the best interest of the claimant while at the same time protecting MPI’s interest to investigate and report on fraud trends, proactively identifying concerns and opportunities for fraud.  Other responsibilities include training service centre personnel in fraud awareness, identifying suspicious claims, and preparing detailed referrals.
