Reporting to the Supervisor, Production Support, the Business Analyst provides day-to-day support for business areas using in-house and customized off-the-shelf (COTS) applications. The role involves investigating and resolving moderately complex application issues, identifying root causes, implementing solutions, and providing interim workarounds when needed.
The Business Analyst works closely with business units to gather requirements and collaborates with technology teams, vendors, software providers, and Knowledge Management Services (KMS) to support tactical and strategic production initiatives. The position ensures application reliability, data integrity, and assesses the impact of business process and technical changes on integrated systems.
Additionally, the Business Analyst may participate in product teams and corporate projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Project Business Analyst, supporting application upgrades, platform migrations, and other initiatives by providing analysis, recommendations, and business-focused solutions.
