Responsibilities

As a Professional Intern in our Subrogation department, you will have the opportunity to:

 

Operational Analysis

  • Execute data collection and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop tools and processes for operational strategy implementation.
  • Monitor analytics and industry trends for optimization and innovation.
  • Identify processes that have opportunity for automation and streamlining.

Projects and Initiatives

  • Assist in designing analysis for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate to implement change management and governance processes through KPI monitoring.
  • Participate in projects like capacity modelling, jurisdictional analysis, and automation opportunities.
  • Review, assess all existing procedures to identify gaps, inconsistencies, outdated information, and opportunities for improvement and develop standardized templates and formatting guidelines
  • Partner with leadership to support upcoming organizational changes or projects.

Qualifications

To be eligible for our Professional Internship program you must:

 

  • Be enrolled in at least a two-year program (diploma or degree) at a recognized university or college in Manitoba with a focus in Business Analysis, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science or Commerce.
  • Be a recent or current graduate (i.e. must have graduated at the end of 2025 or graduating in 2026).

Special skills:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Works with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Handles multiple tasks and prioritizes assignments to meet deadlines.
  • Self‑motivated problem solver who takes initiative to identify issues, research options, and implement effective solutions, with minimal direction.
  • Knowledge of Structured Query Language is an asset.
