Responsibilities

As a Professional Intern in our Strategy and Customer Experience team, you will have the opportunity to:

 

Join the team responsible for helping MPI turn its multi-year corporate strategic plan into action. You’ll work side-by-side with leaders across the organization to support execution, strengthen accountability, and bring energy and clarity to the work ahead.

 

We’re looking for someone who is curious, adaptable, creative, and thrives in ambiguity. If you love solving complex problems, enjoy writing, organizing ideas, building presentations, and seeing the big picture, you’ll find this role both challenging and rewarding. You’ll contribute to high-impact work such as:

  • Helping stand up corporate governance and reporting structures to track strategic execution.
  • Creating engaging and insightful content (visuals, stories and dashboards) to highlight progress, success stories, and alignment to our strategy.
  • Supporting the rollout and socialization of MPI’s strategic plan across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyzing data and feedback to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities that help the organization improve.
  • Embedding a customer-first mindset by assisting the CX team in integrating the voice of the customer into decisions and service design.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be challenged to make sense of complexity, communicate clearly, and make meaningful contributions from day one.

 

Key Focus Areas:

 

Strategic Execution Support

  • Assist in creating reporting and governance tools to monitor progress on strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to leadership-level briefings and content that showcase strategic alignment and performance.
  • Support the ongoing rollout of MPI’s multi-year corporate strategy across departments.

Customer Experience Integration

  • Help synthesize customer feedback and insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support initiatives that bring a customer-first lens to service and product design.
  • Contribute to storytelling and communication that connects employee efforts to customer impact.

 

Qualifications

To be eligible for our Professional Internship program you must:

  • Be enrolled in at least a two-year program (diploma or degree) at a recognized university or college in Manitoba with a focus in Business Administration, Commerce, Strategic Management, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Be a recent or current graduate (i.e. must have graduated at the end of 2024 or be graduating in 2025).
