  • Overview

    As the Organizational Development Consultant, you will collaborate with an intra-departmental team to develop comprehensive value-added client solutions.  You will facilitate and manage the research, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of select small and larger-scale organizational development activities and initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    • Contribute to the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of the annual organizational development plans.
    • Manage and facilitate the development and delivery of corporate programs, such as leadership development, performance development and team development.
    • Develop and maintain a network of working relationships with internal clients, stakeholders and colleagues in other departments and professional associations to stay current on best practices and emerging trends.
    • Maintain and improve organizational development products, services and systems by researching, evaluating, implementing and monitoring improvement strategies impacting leadership development.
    • Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of a methodology for measuring the effectiveness of organizational development initiatives.

    Education & Experience

    • Undergraduate degree in business administration, commerce (human resources), education and/or social sciences.
    • Adult education certificate/courses or human resources/organizational development certificate/courses.
    • Minimum five years related experience in:
      • Providing consulting services to management in a business environment, including leadership program development, talent management, performance management, succession planning, mentoring and 360 degree feedback within competency-
        based systems.
      • Assessing and customizing training needs and delivering training using a blended-learning approach.

    Special Skills & Requirements

    • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, deliver and evaluate training aligned with adult education principles.
    • Effectively manage multiple projects involving various client departments.
    • Communicate complex issues effectively both orally and in writing.
